Our International Baccalaureate curriculum is designed to develop internationally minded people who recognizing their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet to help to create a better and more peaceful world.
Our language offerings provide your child the opportunity to acquire a second language with a German/English immersion model for grades K-5 and German/Spanish language classes available in grades 6+.
Our whole child approach gives all our scholars the foundation they need to become well-rounded, healthy individuals, equipped with a solid education and important life skills to help them reach their full potential.
In Elementary grade levels (kindergarten through fifth grade) students receive 50% of instruction in German and 50% in English, including all core subjects.
German and English instruction rotates weekly and is continuous. In this model an academically challenging learning environment is provided which brings children of two different language groups together to learn from and with each other in an integrated setting.
Middle School grade levels (sixth through eighth) have opportunities to take German or Spanish language classes.

AEA provides the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IB PYP) and Middle Years Programme (IB MYP); Diploma Programme (IB DP) coming Fall 2026.
The IB is a world-wide framework that allow students ownership of their learning within a rigorous curriculum.
